Every athlete under 18 needs a parent or guardian before their account does anything at all. Guardians see what happens, and decide what is shared.

Locked until a guardian approves: Under-18 accounts cannot be messaged or seen until then
Guardians are told: Every coach who makes contact, on their own dashboard
Verified coaches only: Role and school confirmed before anyone can view a profile
Never public: Minor profiles are not searchable — visible only to verified coaches
Consent per feature: AI analysis needs a guardian’s approval, and can be withdrawn
Every access logged: PIPEDA record written as the data is read, not after
